Our company, as a member company of the Kansai Electric Power Company Group, has established a management system concerning our privacy policy and is strictly operating the policy under the recognition that the adequate protection of personal information constitutes an important responsibility to respond to the trust of many stakeholders including our customers and to accomplish our missions as an enterprise.
- 1. Basic Policy
- We will comply with laws, regulations, etc., which stipulate the handling of personal information and handle it adequately while considering rights including privacy rights.
- 2.Collection and utilization of personal information
- For collecting and utilizing personal information, we will collect and utilize it adequately without deceit or without using any other fraudulent means.
- 3. Provision of personal information to third parties
- Excluding cases that fall under either of the following, we will never provide the personal data we own to any third parties:
- Agreement from the principal person is obtained;
- In the case the data are necessary for our business operations, when the data is disclosed and provided to the parties to which the business activities are consigned. It should be noted that, when the data is provided to the parties to which the business activities are consigned, we will sign a confidentiality agreement with the parties in question and provide them with the data after confirming the personal information will be adequately handled; or
- In cases where there are due reasons including when disclosure is obligated under the law.
- 4.Safety management and maintenance of the accuracy
- When utilizing or storing personal data, we will take adequate safety measures for preventing risks including loss, destruction, falsification, leakage and fraudulent access to the information system, and we will adequately supervise our employees and the parties to which business activities are consigned. Furthermore, within the scope that is necessary for achieving the intended use, we will work hard to retain the personal data owned by our company at an accurate and up to date level.
- 5.Disclosure, correction, etc.
- Concerning the personal data we own, we will respond in principle to requests for disclosure, correction, etc., from the principal person.
